While in Finland I read about this fuckers. They are called Asian giant hornets, and they kill up to 40 people a year. I was praying that I wouldn’t have to meet a single one during my exchange.
Well destiny dropped one in front of me on the third day of being here. Yay. (as you can see, this one was dying. But it was still alive enough I didn’t want my finger any closer.)
Despite being a relatively standard shot, this image is more than it looks.
I had a pleasure to be on board Finnairs new A321ER with sharklets. The aircraft is the first one in commercial use, and currently no other airliner has it. This baby was only some 1 week old when I flew it, and this was the 3rd passenger flight performed with it. Quite an excitement for an aviation nerd like me!
